Who We Are
”A 1st century entrepreneurial/apostolic community in the 21st century marketplace”

Centered with Christ

Called to community & inner transformation

Sent into the world to seek the Kingdom in the marketplace
Rhythms - Values - Principles - Practices
We are proposing a few simple ingredients as the basics for Acts Communities.
Firstly to find the balance between the Being and the Doing, drawing closer to God and one another for values and mission calibration, and then acting out what God has put in us to do. In this constant rhythm, penduling between the BE and DO, illustrated by the infinity symbol, we find the balance and sustainability that entrepreneurs desperately need to be sustainable and effective in their mission.

Acts Community
Apostolic Entrepreneurship in Today’s World!
Acts Communities reflect the energy and unity of the early Apostles — diverse people, yet united in following Jesus. Just as the Apostles broke new ground and met needs, today’s entrepreneurs carry that same apostolic role in society, creating solutions and extending God’s Kingdom into the marketplace.
The first Apostles were followed by generations of leaders who lived out Kingdom values. Entrepreneurs, like them, often have determination and independence, but true growth requires vulnerability and fellowship. Acts Communities provide a place for entrepreneurs to support one another, balancing being with God and doing His work.
Inspired by Acts 2:42–47, these groups are built on six core values:
* Fellowship – sharing life
* Discipleship – journeying together
* Joy – giving thanks
* Generosity – living abundantly
* Service – loving sacrificially
* Impact – leading courageously
Practical expressions include eating and praying together, mentoring, sharing resources, celebrating wins, and pioneering new initiatives. Each group will look different, shaped by culture and context, but all aim to live out love in action.
Entrepreneurs often struggle to find their place in the church, yet their gifts are vital. Acts Communities help reintegrate these apostolic and prophetic callings back into the body of Christ, strengthening both marketplace and church life.
The ultimate goal is to bless the city where we live by bringing creative solutions to its challenges, echoing God’s own creativity. As Jeremiah 29:7 says, when the city prospers, we prosper. So adding to what we already do individually through our own businesses, we join together in the challenge of prayerfully finding out where the city hurts, and synergize to create sustainable solutions that demonstrate God's love in action to our fellow city dwellers. Starting small is key: live out the values yourself, pray for a fellow entrepreneur, and let the community ripple out naturally.
Acts Communities are about creating spaces where entrepreneurs grow deeper in God’s love, support one another, and bring transformation into society.

Where can you find an Acts Community near you?
It begins with you: The answer is that you start it where you are. It begins with your own commitment. To inspire others you first aspire to live the values yourself. That is a lifelong journey, but we can at least start and get used to some of the values, perhaps starting with the ones that speak the most to us.
Leading by example: Pray that God will give you one more person who desires this type of community. Then the two of you pray for another. Sharing life with one another and focusing on the sustainable rhythm of both being and doing, drawing near to God and one another and engage hands on together as entrepreneurs in loving the city where you live.
Let it ripple: When you are three praying in unity and sharing life with one another, it becomes contagious, and others will be drawn to you if you are open for that. Be relaxed about it and let it ripple; making sure that this is born out of need and desire, rather than through pushing a program to grow. Life lived together should grow deep roots before it grows wide.
Our Values
As the early believers in Acts 2:42 we value;

Fellowship
Sharing life, especially through eating and praying together to build deep connection.

Discipleship
Journeying together; growth happens when we are deeply connected with Christ, transparent and vulnerable with one another, then mutually sharpening (“iron sharpens iron”) and leads to God powered transformation.

Joy
A conscious posture of gratitude and celebration, especially in dark or broken environments.

Generosity
Living abundantly by sharing time, energy, and heart (not just money or surplus).

Service
Loving sacrificially and empowering others; coming alongside rather than from above (anti-paternalistic posture).

Impact
Leading courageously both through initiation to kick off new endeavors and through cultivation, following up and investing for long term impact.
